All About Us

Quick Response.  Unbeatable Quality.  Outstanding Service.

Walt McCollum, a United States veteran, began his career in the plumbing industry over 35 years ago and has been serving the Long Beach Island area ever since. Over the years, our team has expanded - as did our service offerings - to include complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repairs and installations and, most recently, Winter House Watch services.

Walt McCollum Plumbing, Heating, Cooling operates on the belief that if you give quality service with friendly technicians at a fair price, your business will be successful. In addition, another core value of our organization is giving back and investing in our community.

Today, our company gives outstanding service to thousands of happy clients throughout Long Beach Island, Manahawkin, Barnegat, Tuckerton, Forked River, and Waretown and participates in many community charities.  Check out what people are saying on our reviews and testimonials page.

Our founder and namesake, Walt McCollum, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Walt instilled an expectation of high-quality work with great service. We will continue his vision in everything we do and every client we work with. He was very proud of the work his team did and we know he will be watching over us every step forward.

Walter B. McCollum, 74, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
